We are pleased to announce that Only Frank has reached an important milestone on the road to more sustainable tanning production: the Supplier to Zero – Level 1 certification issued by the ZDHC Foundation.
The Supplier to Zero programme is an initiative of the ZDHC Foundation (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) that aims to improve the management of chemicals in the supply chains of the textile and leather industries. Through a structured process, suppliers are guided in implementing best practices to reduce the use of hazardous substances, improve process safety and minimise environmental impact.
Level 1 certification represents entry into the ZDHC chemical management system, providing suppliers with tools and guidelines to begin the journey towards more responsible production. This level includes an evaluation of current practices and the definition of an action plan for the implementation of the recommendations provided.
Achieving Supplier to Zero – Level 1 certification demonstrates Only Frank’s commitment to excellence not only in product quality, but also in environmental and social responsibility. We have embarked on a path of continuous improvement, adopting practices that ensure chemical safety, process traceability and compliance with international standards.
